Gotta divide it up somehow. Should be a great event!! Conflict with the Black Sheep Event is the only thing keeping me away. :(

In reply to mongo, I am the Southwest regional VP and live in the Salt Lake area, therefore it is much easier for me to get this event going. I will in the future move the event around in my region. The idiots comment is not called for, this event is being put together by myself and a few other people some IRCHA members and some that are not. The people at IRCHa have been great about it, the one thing you need to remember is that it is being totaly financed by myself and a few other people with the intent of getting a bigger event in this part of the country that we can all enjoy. When we all get positive we can get somewhere. I noticed you are in Texas, well we need a district rep down there or a state rep. You could always take one of these positions and maybe we can bring it to Texas next year.

I talked with Gary, and he is planning on getting t-shirts made for the event. There probably is going to be a limited quantity of them so I bet you could talk to him and pre-order them to make sure you get your souvenir of this great big event.

that would take me paying dues to an orginization that i think is wasted time and money.
just seems odd that the two most populated states, in terms of heli flyers are placed in the same overly large "area". while some of the least populated areas are getting 2-3 seperate "areas". that is the genisis of the idiot comment.
Hi Mongo,
My suggestion is that you should pay your dues, join IRCHA and become a member. Then volunteer and offer your free time and services.
After you do this, and things aren't going the way you like, you then have a right to complain.

Rob thanks for the support! As you know you cannot please everyone. One thing I will say just to clarify things, IRCHA is not just an East coast organization and is continualy growing. At first I did not join IRCHA but after talking with Will James I decided to jump in and help out. Since that time alot of things have come about. With the regional people in place we can now all participate without a 2200 mile drive to the main event.

I am a very big supporter of IRCHA. I think we need them a hell of a lot more than they need us. One of these days more people will figure that out.
Anyway, this event that Gary and Troy have worked so hard to plan/execute is going to ROCK the HOUSE!!
You guys should all plan to come if your anywhere close.

Hey Gary,
I totally support the direction that IRCHA is headed. If I was close to your flyin, I would grab Will and head that way. Just too many miles and not enough money !
Good luck !

If people spent half of the time helping out with an organization as they did complaining about it, the world would be a much better place. IRCHA is an organization by the people for the people. If the organization doesn't step forth and help itself then things WILL not get better. In the past couple of months numorous people have layed down there complaints and stepped forward to volunteer there time in an effort to make things better.
Mongo, seems like you have allot of time and energy to point out faults. How but spending that time and energy to step forth and volunteer to help fix some of those things you think are wrong? Until you are willing to step forth a coontribute in a positive way, your negativity has no warrant.
I am excited about the direction IRCHA is taking and I look forward to the comming years. I believe the organization will continue to grow and prosper and always continue to be an organization by the people for the people.
Hotshot,
Shoot me a pm with your Phone # so we can start talking about the South East IRCHA flyin!

Thanks to all who attended the event I Had a great time. Keep in mind that it's sucess was due to everybody. I could not have predicted the way it turned out, nor could I predict the positive interest in IRCHA.
I have already been swamped with e-mails about doing it again next year. I will be doing an event next year either way, I just need to take a break after this one and then get started again.
It was outstanding to put all the clubs together for this one and look forward to doing it again.
It is now apparent that the IRCHA organization is here to stay in this part of the country, so lets all jump onboard and get the train rolling.
Again thanks to everyone who helped out or attended and also thanks to the IRCHA organization for allowing me to bring the event here.
