Had my first real crash at the dome last night. Danage: See-saw arms, linkage rod, CF landing gear and a cracked canopy. Not bad. Had a blast !!!
Blades, main shaft, spindle and everything else is A-OK weird huh?
how is it possible that you didnt at least bent the spindle screws? If you messed up the seesaw arms?

I put stainless screws in the spindle on mine
as I understand, you don't want to use stainless screws as the screws are the easiest thing to replace, the rest of it is quite a pain.

luck maybe?
yea I guess, you know they always say its better to be lucky than good :) hehe
I have zinc screws for my spindle shafts now. They are very soft so they will bend before anything else. I did have a bad crash that casued one to break off in the spindle shaft though, but I guess its better than breaking other parts.
The thing about this heli that irks me is the cnc parts damage so easily. Those arms that attach to the blade grips I've broken twice already.
does anyone know what part number is for the nylon linkage that goes from the cnc part to the flybar, it is an all nylon link? can't see it on any exploded parts list.? not in the picture for the link replacement set? off the road until I can find this. Thinks has split!!!

What you want is the Universal Links Pack

It gives you 2 of the flybar to see-saw (cnc part you mentioned) , it also gives you the tail slider links and washout arm links.
Thanks Scarr, tracked down the parts you mentioned also found they do the linkages seperately for $1.85 so have ordered a pile of them and the universals you mentioned plus a couple of tail lnkages, thanks again for the info lead me to the exact pieces. just have to wait a week now for delivery
