I am newer in helis, but know I will eventually move to nitro. I have a friend that just doesn't want to fly helis anymore and has a Hirobo X-spec. All I need to fly the heli (when I am ready) is a starter, glow plug, and new main bearing for the engine (OS .91 comp). I know Hirobo is still around, but how hard/easy is it/will it be to get parts for this heli in the future. I know there won't be an problem with the engine anytime soon, because they still make it, but am not sure on the heli. Whole thing for $350 if it is a go.
X-Spec should be no problem to get parts for. It is in the Eagle line, and includes the Freya. Lots of parts are available even for the old eagles, so X-Spec parts will be around for quite a while.
Ronlund.com should be able to help you out.

Heliproz.com and Waigo too have a vast number of parts for Hirobo especially Freya Evo and X-Spec.

I don't think Hirobo is going away anytime soon. And they seem to still have parts almost back to the first Shuttle.
Not only that, but their "Evo" concept allows the use of newer parts on older designs. Just takes a little research.

Thanks everybody. Like I said, I know I won't be flying it for a bit, but will definitly ease the transition when I do move up.
