here is the power house for my Ultimate biplane. Pretty Sweet Huh!!!
Problem now is the engine mount box is too long for this engine and I have to cut 1.25" off of the box, to fit the cowl on with this engine.

Looks great Big Hands ! I'm about to build a 50cc plank also. More than likely a Hangar Nine Extra 260.
The DA50 will be the motor ! How come no one has tried to stuff one of these in a gasser Heli ???

Bighands- how long did it take you to get your DA? I hear there is a waiting list and they cant build them fast enough. Getting ready to order mine soon. Hanger 9 Extra 260 here also.

it took about two weeks to get one through Mac. the price is $599 you might want to go with the brison he has them and there easier to get. plus there Cheaper. by almost a bill.

Nah, I got to go DA, they are light, powerful and the service is great from what I hear. Not to mention I am a dealer for them, so DA all the way!

make sure you have your engine first before building the motor box. I just had to cut off 1.25 inchs with a small circular saw. didn't know this and instructions didn't use the DA. The DA is 6.75 from posts to prop plate. the Brison is only 5+ inchs.

The easiest motor I have ever hade to use is the Evolution you get from Horizon with the Hanger 9. I have had to tune only twice in about 60 flights. 1 time in the begining as I am at sea level with a tremendas amount of humidity and Barometric pressure, and once after a wing stall right after putting a servo in for flaps. Kinda banged things up a little. But I have never had this stable of an engine. I have mainly used OS and Super Tiger before.
