This is the latest from Thunder Power.

This is what I use.

As for a charger that doesn't require a power supply, not sure. I use a pretty nice power supply for charging at home and a marine deep cycle battery for the field.

I just got a pair of the Bantam B6 Dual chargers, and they are great!
You don't need a separate power supply for this unit, it uses both an AC (110-240 VAC) or DC (11-18 VDC) source.
BC6 has an individual-cell-voltage balancer inside. So it does not need any balancer separately when charging Lithium batteries (LiIo/LiPo/LiFe) for cell voltage balancing.
BC6 can charge up to 16 cells of NiCd/NiMH and 6S of Lithium batteries.
Optional Dual Balance Board allows 2 3S Li-Po or 3 2S Li-Po to be serial charged together.
This allows to me to charge 4 3S Lipos at once, in about 1 hour, with my two B6 chargers. :happyd
