Well my 90 raptor finally hit the deck on Sunday (pilot error), and I will be needing to purchase a new set of main rotor blades, My question is what are the best blades for the money out there ?, Ive been using the stock raptor blades (710's) with no problems, I dont do any extreme 3d just basic stuff with loops and rolls, also I was on Heliproz web site and next to the main blade discription they have numbers like...... 12/4 14/5 what do these numbers mean? any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

As far as best value, I'd like to know also but just purchased a set of Radix 710 stick bangers as suggested in a different thread.
The numbers 12/4 14/5 mean, the first number is the thickness of the root (the part that goes in the blade grip), the second number is the size of the bolt hole. Depending of which blade grips you have on your 90 is the size root you can have, the metal TT grips are only 12mm, the plastic grips have a rubber spacer so 12 and 14 will fit. The metal quickuk grips are 14. The Raptor 90 has a 5mm bolt.

If you are just a sport pilot, look at mah Gen 2's. I picked up a set of 710 for 69.00 and they fly great. My next set of blades will be the new wide cord Sab's. http://www.ronlund.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=heli&Product_Code=SAB0225
A friend has a set of these sab's and they auto like a dream!

Try the Mavrikk brand from Heliproz since you are looping and rolling. Hard 3D supposedly bogs the G4 version blades some but for anything less than that they fly fine, look great and are very durable. They make a new series, the G5 which is reported to be more of a hard 3D compatible blade.
