I realize it's probably not necessary, but I was wondering if anyone made a cover for Dean's female plugs. Having an extra measure of protection over them while they're idle just seems wise.
Does anyone know of such?
TIA,
John

You could make a cover out of heatshrink. Just slide a piece over the deans plug, fold the ends over, and melt it together closed, let it cool and slide off. I made a bunch of covers for my micro deans using another micro deans with the ends cut off and heatshrinked over.
the little Y harness at the bottom has a cap on the micro deans BEC lead.

you could do the same with ultras, but hard to grind off those thick prongs, and it would be some expensive covers! :D

I use vinyl thread caps. Not so much to protext the plug, but that lets me know which packs are charged. Cap on = fully charged.
