I was just looking at the phoenix web sight and am wondering if the photos that are posted on the web sight are what the actual screen shots look like. I am coming from reflex xtr and I am considering phoenix.

So is it worthwhile to change from reflex to phoenix?

Depends, do you like customer support that speaks english, flying online and now with teamspeak chatting while flying? If the answer to those is yes, than heck yea its worth switching. If it purely for physics, I'd say Reflex is the closest to Phoenix than the other sims.

I think it is very true to say the photos are what you see ,quality wise, however to get the best from the software, flying site wise, you need to look at the required graphics spec and make sure you comply.
My feeling is that on the same oldish pc and laptop the two softwares are much the same, flying site wise but the latest versions of phoenix has better reflections in the water and shadows than reflex, but you need a higher spec than reflex requires to get this to run smoothly.
Dispite claiming otherwise however the development and upgrades are clearly aimed at hele users and the plane settings and adjustments leave lots to be desired,
I have a electric power raptor 30 and the phoenix raptor is dead right, but I also have a Hanger 9 EP corsair and the corsair is certainly not right, stall at wrong speed, you can't set up standard futabs channel mixes ect
so don't just look at the pretty picture, someone else once said in reply to a similar question it is the model accuracy that is important the background counts for nothing apart from winf settings.
