I used 3M 90 adhesive spray on the stickers and they seem to be holding fine! My last 5 tanks were full 3D, and no sign of them peeling off.
It was a mess to put them on the plastic canopy in first place, but the spills are easy to clean.
I guess a 3M 77 spray could also be used successfully.
