Does anyone have any thoughts on using the Tx lipo's Ive seen in the magazines? I have a 7C and a 9C radio and I'm looking into using lipo in my Tx's.

I use a Flight Power 3s 1500 Lipo in my DX7, although the manufacturer recommends against it, it works great for me and charging once a month or so is really nice.

The Dualsky 2500 lipo tx packs are very good. They have their own built in cell balancer so you do not need to balance them.

I thought the TX cuts power below 9v? DX-7 at least.
I have been using them in my TX before skyline and most other shops were selling them. I got them from China or some where.in Ebay land,.. two for 30+ pounds and I have one charged ready in tranny box and one in my ff9. My tranny is on all the time on Saturdays as I teach with buddy box four guys so as one lands I am setting up for the next one, and when they are on the ground I am flying myself and I still only charge once a month.
