Hopefully my 5003D kit shows up this week. I know I will need to order up a pinion seperately as it's not included in the kit, but now i'm wondering about the main gear. I know there is the option to go .5 or .7 mod so my question is, are both mod main gear included in the kit? Also anything else that you could think of that I may need to get that does not come with the kit other than the usual motor and electronics.
Thanks

Both gears are in the kit.
Don’t know if the counter bearing is also in the kit.
Depends on your choice of motor if you need it or not.
Knows that Z-power and Actro motor require its.

Counterbearing is only included on the 600 kits and is not required for the 500 series.

Start your lipo collection - I fly with EVO 25 4350s and 5000s and quite like the smaller capacity as it's lighter and gives a noticeable zoom bonus - the EVO lite 5350s are also real popular but I haven't tried them - AT and KKs too big to fit under the pinion. Blades - 550s gives a more stable Logo 600 feel but I really like the Rotortech 515s to liven it up and have felt really good with the SAB 516s - Shawn swears by the 550s but I found them to slow it up and draw more current. You should also check if you have the metal motor mount inlcuded (it's an extra in Oz) and generally considered a must have. And some M3 nylon bolts for the landing gear may well save your frames on freelance open cast mining ventures.

Thanks guys, I figured they were both in there but it's hard to find anything from Mikado that makes it clear.
Mercuriell - Motor mount will be one of the first things i'll check on the kit as I know this was a big problem with the plastic ones last year. As far as batts, i'll be borrowing, cough ahem, stealing the EVO 5000 packs from my Trex 600. Would any hardware store carry the nylon bolts?

Would any hardware store carry the nylon bolts?
Its difficult to find metric nylon bolts in the hardware store but I got mine from Espritmodel.com and just trimmed them to length.

Here is a picture of the landing gear using the nylon bolts.
