Hello all

Sorry for the stupid question but........

The Blade 400 has just landed (no pun intended) in OZ.

I purchased mine with the (supposed) correct training gear. I've had a good look at the kit and for the life of me I cannot see how it fits to the skids.

(I am almost too embarrased to say this.... I am qualified to work on aircraft)

Can someone post a picture of how it all fits together please?

My current work around of cable tying the gear to the skids looks a bit daggy and I want to look a bit more, umm, professional.

Thanks

John

Dunno about the B400 specifically but cable ties are what are used on most helis so relax and enjoy it mate.

I only had them on for 2 hovers but the cp pro's gear fit fine and the snapped on.

Wasting your time with the CP Pro gear..It will not prevent a whole lot from happening..There is no gear designed for the CP400 yet...I made one out of wood dowel and foam balls with zip ties...really make the helo hard to fly though...I used it once and went back to flying without..

So what's the general opinion? Needed??

it's not a bad idea if your still learning but as soon as you can hover and land softly get rid of them.

edit: just saw your flying YOU don't need them almost silly for you to ask that question. I hope to 'fly' that way soon. (someday)

cp pro gear fit fine they may just not stick out far enough. I only put them on for the first couple of take offs for a little bit of insurance. But, copter51 I saw your vids, why would you need/want gear ???
