View Full Version : YS80 dieing after long inverted autos

Hey guys -- My Fury with YS80 keeps dieing after I flip out of a long inverted auto. She runs great during normal inverted hovering and flight, and she also runs great during normal upright autos.

Should I just lean it out some more on the idle screw? I'm not hanging on the muffler during normal autos and I don't want to. I've also increased my throttle hold setting, but then I get all the banter from the peanut gallery that I'm cheating, and I don't want that. :)

Help me out if you have experience with this issue.

Thanks

I had the same deal @ IRCHA this year and I found a BAD clunk line in the Main tank. Usually the YS does not care what position it is in. Also check your check vaulve. Good luck, let me know if you find the problem.........Thanks

leaned out low end and tested while in Thold and rotating by hand the heli inverted and back upright a few times to get it to stay running. After doing this it works fine. you'll find that once it is rolled inverted, it'll lean for a moment then go to idle, then once rolled back it'll richen up.
