Actually there are two in Livermore. One is the Livermore Flying Electrons, off Vasco road.

And the other is called EBRC (East Bay Radio Controllers), also off Vasco road, and only a short drive from the other field, if you want to check both out while your there.

I used to see some people fly helis and planes in North Concord near the old Price Club and heald business college. But that was several years ago before I was interested in this stuff.

I used the pilor, flying RC finder.

easy access right next to hwy 4 in north concord. Not on the merlin703 map. don't know if it's a legal field or anything but i know that i've seen helis flying there maybe as long as 10yrs ago.

I have been by both of these fields dozens of times, and have but once seen any aircraft in the air. Most of the time they are totally closed. Whats the deal? The EBRC site doesn't go into their hours of operation.

Oh well, I'll keep flying my 600n at the new ACE train station on Vasco.

I was told by an EBRC member that they are now under flying time restrictions as people were complaining about the noise. Its my understanding that on weekends its like 8-1pm or something like that and you cant fly after 4pm on weekdays, I believe.

Whats the ACE train station like, in terms of the field your using? (ie, cement, dirt, how big, etc)

Ace station is A couple football fields with a parking lot in the back. There are lots of lightposts and curbs :(

Rasjax, where do you live? You have good taste in heli's. I didn't mention my mini titan on my profile, but you didn't go nitro for your 600. . . Ever think about it?
