I am having a problem identifying a part as well as verifying the correct part number.
On the tail rotor pitch change lever (Part # 1467) there are two bearings that go on a bolt (#113 on the plans). So there is the bolt, a bearing, a spacer, then a bearing. there is no part number for the bearings. I called horizon and they said it was part 1466 - a 2x5x2.5mm bearing. I assembled it this way and the whole mechanism is loose on the bearings. I would have expected that the bearings snap into the lever causing a tight fit. my whole pitch change lever is floating around and is real sloppy.
Does anyone know if this is the right bearing? Either a part is missing or i need slightly bigger bearings? Or is this just designed this way? Feels kind of sloppy and my instincts tell me this is just not right.
I don't want to trash a helicopter when i should have known better.
Thanks in advance.
