Just curious what are your settings for the gyro gain? I'm just trying to get a feel for where the average setup numbers might be.

Sorry, I posted my gain for the 450 before I realized this was for the 600. As I don't have a 600 I can't help. I don't think posts can be deleted so I just thought I would let you know why there is a useless post in this thread. I was just looking at the "Today's Posts" from the quick links menu and didn't even think to look what heli this was for. sorry.
But I can suggest a different way to set the gyro gain on the DX7.
Instead of using the gyro menu to adjust the gyro gain I have the gyro setup through the gear toggle switch. I use the travel adjust for that switch to adjust the gain. On mine, when the toggle is up, the gyro is in HH mode. You use the positive values for this. When the toggle is down, the gyro is in normal mode. You use the negative values for this. With this way, instead of only having positive values and a short range to work with to set the gain you have the negative values also and a bigger range to work with. It just seems easier to me to do it that way but I am fairly new to helis so I am just sharing my experience so far. You don't need as big of positive numbers though this way. Mine is set to +38 for HH mode for my 450. To get the normal mode to activate when the toggle is down I have mine set to -55. I only use normal mode to set my tavel limit on my gyro. I don't know if this is a popularly used method but it works well for me. Just in case you didn't know all this already. :)
