Hiya guys.
I see it mentioned that the Trex600 Flybar and paddles are good for stability for the EP550. I assume there i no difference between the Trex 600E and 600N flybar and paddle?
I hear it gives more stability and control... so, that sounds just up my street! I'd like that!
Would these two items suite my EP550?

Do they just fit, or do you have to modify the head?

cralis..
Actually the trex 600 flybars work great with the gaui paddles...they screw right on, save the money and just get the flybars....look at a few websites they have two lenghts...I think i bought the ones for electric trex.
They are just a little longer....and move the paddles out a few mm giving more stability in hover, but also give more agility in manuvers. Kind of a win/win.... No mod needed...they slide right in.

the trex 600 flybar i use is align part number H60012 and i use the gaui lightweight paddles with it, and it gives great cyclic response as well as better stability in the hover :D

There are two Trex 600 flybars. 400mm and 440 mm. They both fit both versions of the Trex 600.

yeah i use the 400mm version, i think the 440mm version will make the flybar look too big, in fact i think my 400mm flybar looks too big never, mind the 440mm lol :D

Longer flybar will provide more stability, but also faster response.
You may need to add some expo to enjoy the more stability.

OK, got my flybar today at a LHS. I got the 400mm one, as there were no 440mm ones...
However, are you sure this fits? There are little grooves on the flybar for the screws to keep it still. These will not fit the EP550 flybar cage... Is that OK?

Yup ! That will work, just make sure it is centered with the grooves equal on each side.
Let us know if you feel a difference.
