I currently fly with 2 APlus 2200 packs. They weigh 179g each. They're mounted in the front of the heli.

I am thinking of getting 2 APlus 3300 packs. They weigh 287g each, and would be mounted in the same place.

What does this do for the COG? Also, is the extra mah worth it for the extra... 216grams weight?

I fly with 2200's 2500's, and 3300's

ahd to make a lower mount that moves the lower batt almost back to the cowling holder on the fwd landing gear. still a little nose heavy but not bad in flight .

Actually for my money a 2500 gives about the best general flights, with the least cost. I get a about another minute to 1 1/2 on the 3300's but you haul around the extra weight and the extra cost.

Just bought 2 2200 hextronixs for $25 each...and so far they have been performing great....only have two flights so far...

Nice one, thanks.
Can't see any 2500 packs around here. Will keep looking...
You have the Z20 980 engine, right? And which pinion? Do you get around 6 minutes with the 2500 packs?
I'm getting 6 to 6 and a half minutes with my 2200 packs, Z20 (980) and 13T... but the head is a bit slow, so might go 14T.. Not sure the time I will lose though.. so might look into 2500's if I could find them..

i fly with the Evo 2500's (209g) and really like them, they are light and really put out some power. with my RCP h/18 it's a real rocket, but i only get 4.5 minute fights. I have been considering getting some 3300's as well, but not sure if the extra weight is worth 1 minute? I also fly with 7 and 8s A123 packs, it flies well but the extra weight is deffinatly noticable! I also flew the evo 2170's and their was no comparison, the 2170's were lighter but the 2500's produce more power and flies much better.

I'm using the 14t pinion....getting 6 mins or better...

I'm using the polyquest 2500 from Hobby Lobby...look at their website i know they have a cheap world wide shipping if it can fit in a certain size box.

If I can get 6 1/2 mins from the 2200's I'll be happy, I just havent pushed them yet..

look at my thread on the gaui vs align esc....the 2200 only used 1250 mah for 5 mins, but the headspeed was lower.....I hope to see what i can really get from them..
