Wobbling Clutch Bell?

I have 15 flights on my 600N. Today I removed the engine in order to install a metal fan and I noticed that the clutch bell has slop of about 2mm side to side.

Any idea what I will find when I remove the starting assembly? Or is it normal and the bell is locked in by the engine assembly?

Hey jackheli,

I also have a fair bit of play on the clutch bell on my heli. Something similar to what you have. It doesn't seem to worry the heli. I guess the starter shaft keeps things aligned.

I did have a huge problem where the clutch was making a terrible noise, and I thought it was the clutch assembly bearings. I replaced them and it made no difference. It turned out that the rear engine bearing was screwed.
