Just finished the head setup of my N9, its now ready to go! Scary first flights saturday all being well. Spec is as follows:

3x 9255's Cyclics

Any particular hints or tips would be well received, but all looks to be ok! This will be my first 90 size, and i cant wait to get it in the air. My other helis are a fully specced up Compass Knight 3D, and a 450sev2 with Kasama head.

Well, it went pretty well! Not quite as fast on the rolls as my knight 3d, but boy has it got some power!

One problem to report. Ive got a nasty wag on the tail, and adjusting the gain makes no difference what so ever. Any tips with the solid g, or the physical setup? Im just about to pickup and fit a kasama tail assembly (a. to rule out dodgy thurst bearings, and b to make sure im not gonna get a tail blade grip letting go).

Thats the only pic i have right now. The 450 has a new canopy now, and the synergy will have a canomod in the coming weeks :)

EDIT: Ive also ordered a set of BLS351's for the cyclics :)

Thanks :)

update after todays flying. Changed the tail hub assembly to the Kasama one i picked up last night, also re-mounted the solid g using 2 layers of futaba mounting pads, and also loosened off the velcro strap. It did the trick, no more wag, but the stops are seriously soggy on the Solid G it would appear. Im used the the rock solid hold of the Spartan DS760, and the very nice crisp stops that come with it. Ive had a bit of a play with the g-view and have upped the stop gains, but i think it could do with a larger dead band or possibly some more expo, as it would seem that unless you basically remove your fingers from the stick you dont get a crisp stop at all. i will have another play next weekend with it, will add in some more expo using the g-view and see how i get on.

What are your solid-g settings? I'm using a solid-g on my N9 and tails stops are very crisp. I have not used the Spartan gyro, but the stops on my N9 now are as crisp or crisper than when I was using a 7703d or 611.
