Sometimes when i power up my model the receiver lights on my dx7 blinnk but i still have servo control. If i switch off the power then turn it back on agin the problem goes away and the leds go solid. It is a pretty hit and miss affair. What does this mean and what can be done to solve the situation?

How new is your Rx?

The newest Rxes will flash teh LEDs to tell you the Rx experienced a low voltage event. If you tap te connectors while connecting, it can cause the Rx to indicate a low voltage event.

Its Brand new. I am using the fromeco arizona regulator and i know the output is 5.9 volts even when i have this problem. If I switch it on and off the problem sometimes clears but the voltage is the same either way.

If brand new and the latest firmware, it is probably a bounce in the power switching. So the Rx gets pwoer then it drops then back on.

It will work fine while blinking.

I found the same thing happens with my JR X9303 unless I turn the transmitter off as well.

ie: If I turn the receiver off, and then turn it back on while the transmitter has remained on, then my receiver lights all blink, but I still have control. However, if I turn the receiver off, and the transmitter off as well, then I never have the lights blink when I turn it back on again. It only happens when the receiever is cycled on/off/on with the transmitter remaining on.

Basically, if I turn the Rx off, then I have to turn the Tx off as well.

It maybe something to do with the way 2.4GhzTx and Rx talk to each other on power-up?

AFAIK, they only talk to each other when the bind plug is inserted.

But things may have changed with the new firmware.
