I don't know what everyone else uses to hold their flybar level while checking/adjusting blade/pitch---This will work "Until The Real Thing Comes Along"---Use the blade/holder after cutting a third slot in the web between the existing blade slots---Simply snap it to the boom with the flybar/paddle inserted in the third slot---

LOL.. Man I was just thinking of how to build something to do what you describe. I think I like your idea MUCH better :)

Best part is, with your idea, the fly bar doesn't have to be level, just perpendicular to the main shaft. Good Thinking! :-)

I can't remember where I saw it - on some forum - but there was a picture of the head on the 400. Apparently there is a hole where you can insert the small allen wrench that locks the head perpendicular to the main shaft. I don't have the B400 yet so I can't confirm this.

Could Be---I have two of these B400's & I'm not aware of any such "Feature"---Nothing in the manual---

Found it!
It is from a post over at RunRyder.com
From the post:

Did you know that Horizon included a free flybar lock with your Blade 400? Yep, take the smallest allen wrench included with the heli and do this with it...

There you go. Works perfectly. BTW, the two smallest allen wrenches look similar, but really are two different sizes. You want to use the one that is the smallest of the two.

Yup, the link that MNcowboy posted works great.
However, the two small allen wrenches are the same size and I found them to be a little too tight to squeeze in there so I use an even smaller one, 1.0-1.5mm I think.
Just push it through the head and pull it up and over the raised area of the flybar control frame so the allen wrench is directly over the set screws.
Works like a charm.

I use the rod supplied for mounting the canapy. I couldn't get the allen wrench trick to work for me.
