Hi all, bit of a basic question, but thought it best to ask before just doing it .......
I've got 2 Align 3S1P 11.1V 2200mAh Li Po packs that I'm hoping to use in my T500, now how do I connect them up?
Do I connect the Red wire from 1 pack to the Black wire from pack 2 and connect the other Red and Black wire to the ESC? That's 2 packs in series .............. right?
I use 4mm bullet connectors, personal choice, so it should be easy to do (famous last words!)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks.
A
You solder both and use this into ESC:)

depending on what "bullet connectors" is :o

Just make ur own dude... very simple to make - use some wire from old puffed packs, I did and works a treat.
Look at the links and go from there, of course use the same size wire from the packs you would normally use :D

Assuming you have old puffed packs. I know I don't have any of that gauge wire lying around (or old packs).

If you have 4mm bullet connectors on the packs, it's simple. Just like you said:
"Red wire from 1 pack to the Black wire from pack 2 and connect the other Red and Black wire to the ESC? That's 2 packs in series .............. right"
Here's what it looks like without bullets:

Excellent, thanks for the help.
I'll be keeping them as 2 seperate packs though, have only got a maximum 5S charger for now, which is why I got the 2 packs (well 4 actually), as soon as I get flying I'm sure a 6S charger will be on my list! ;)

Its actually cheaper to buy a deans series connector than to make your own, plus you need good soldering skills to make them nice and well connected.
