I am not sure if i would be comfortable or welcomed while flying with canopy like this. :)
But i was thinking about something from Insane... but the price is very, very high.

I rather think the Insane ones are quite affordable. 250 including canopy is a good deal.
The ones above are a little bit more...

Thanks - quite happy about the result myself. Timo does amazing work!
You will see them soon. I suspect one of them will even make it to Oz in the not so distant future.
I should have both of them in Taiwan within the next few weeks and will get some action photos shot of them.

The silver used it actually real leaf metal, and is truly a pita to apply. I have a feeling it will really pop when it comes into the sun. The one in the back has the most amazing candy colors.

I know, 250 is acceptable for the quality they produce...
I am not so far yet to be sure i will not waste it in a crash.
There are so many pretty things out there... :)

Just Beautiful !!
That's a lost-art, rarely seen anymore these days. It will definitely *kick* in the sunlight
(I use this on my Race Skis, burnished or machine-turned/spun);

Today was the day - my 2 new canopies arrived from Timo. Absolutely love these.
The details are amazing and don't even show up on the photos. If you guys are interested, I will get some photos shot outside in the sun - they will look amazing, I reckon.
First one is the Charity Auction Canopy - the amount paid went to "Hospital Clowns" in Germany - a group of people trying to add a little joy to the lives of children with cancer.
The second one is an idea I worked out with Timo, and is based on Dark Knight. Many, many details are hidden all over the canopy...
I hope I won't bonk these... :crash

Edvard, I am dissapointed!
The TDR in the upper book shelf is not sitting properly.
The nose tip has at least 5 mm more distance to the wall than the other ones.
If not 7 mm.:noteworthy

Cmon, he improved it a lot - all three helis now have the tail rotor in the same position - something we never seen before! :clappp
Edit: maybe the final step - airbrushed blades??

Look nice, i hate it how its so hard to catch the real beauty of airbrushing in a photo.
Don't worry i like my tail rotors lined up also!
I did not realise you won the charity auction?
So whats next, spray the skids and blades???

I was up really early competing with Dr. Okon for the bid - got it by the skin of my teeth... was really a photo-finish. Quite exciting.

IMO, painting the skids and blades would be to over-do it.

Jebus, you have some nice helis.
Now you need to get a longer tail boom painted so you can go back to an 800, or has the 800 experiment been sidelined for now???

Thanks guys.
I did get 800 booms painted too, but the 800 project has been temporarily put to rest. Kinda "Meh" after the first few flights...

Not exiting at all, no...
It might get revived once more blades become available.
