Very nice, i estimate the Radix FBL were about 20% faster then my SB white and were like on rails in FFF.
It is the right blade for FFF i think.
I think distance on this video is not extreme and the heli should be still visible.
I might have some shaky vids from the weekend in next few days.

The heli on the video is on Radix 710 FBL, the old version. Extremely stable blades! I put them on the 3D TDR to try them las sunday and they are quite slower than the SB. I like the Matt Black better for 3D.

Distance is not a problem, on the left side it is on the edge of becoming a bit hard to recognize. Of course the pilot always has a better intuition of the model's position but it's not far at all. Actually after watching this video the first thing that stroke me was how close I was flying my approaches from compared to other videos I've seen. I thought I was going far away and on the video the heli comes back in an instant!

I received a little something in the mail today... this goes to the Speed TDR since it's heavy as hell! Nicest canopy I ever owned.

And the weight difference is how big?

marcosp
05-05-2012, 07:03 AM
It's very heavy. I'll be able to weight it in a few hours at the field.

If that canopy is same as Fusuno or Canomod then the weight is almost twice Jan's stock TDR canopy.

Coudnt figure out how to get big pictures up but heres mine anyway. Nothing really that different, bespoke Servo Bus is different and covered in my thread. Have a matching Trex 550 colour scheme, still like that heli, lets see after this weekend. S*** or bust then.
Thats a funny thing, just noticed there are real points of light reflections on some photos.

So did you measure the weight?

Nope, I am in debt here. My scale is in a room and the canopy in my storage in the apartment garage, never have both together. I'll do it tonight as soon a sI get home.

Thanks, never seen a TDR and Diabolo side by side before. I like the bigger boom on the Diabolo but prefer the TDR canopy and landing gear.
