Bullseye1, are those metal servo horn ??
I would suggest you changing them to plastic. You'll risk your servo gear/case to crack in a crash. Plus those servo linkage are connect directly to the swash plate, so the impact will be direct...

I use metal servo horns on servos with metal main gear like the BLS451, I never had any problems using the metal arms and I did strip plastic servo hornes in the past on the 8717's with metal main gear.
I prefer loosing a servo in a crash then loosing the entire heli if one of the plastic arms give a way during flight or the ball break off during hard manuvers, just a personal preference.

You have no idea how much I'm eye-ball'n that new Three Dee RIGID. I swear I'm ready to sell a kidney! :rolling
But I'd want a canopy that is special, in a sense something likes your's. I personally think it suits that "shape" perfectly!
You're in the UK I see... My mother was from England, and I have tons of relatives in both England and Ireland (Dad was from Southern Ireland).
Since there is no dealership in North America, and I'm up in Canada I'd have to deal with Jan personally. What's the time line like when ordering if you don't mind me asking?
Rick.

Couldn't comment on dealing direct but sure Jan would be pretty sharp!

Yes... that's it!
I have one coming, but won't be until the end of this year! They are on back order.
Can't wait to build this thing! To me, it's the Ferrari/Rolls Royce of Heli's! :)
Is that Curtis Youngblood? Looks like him.
Hmmm... Maybe he had a mishap... the tail rotor blades look like they are missing?
Rick.

Actually, I blew it up bigger.
The one tail rotor blade is folded up and hidden behind the boom.
Great Pic!
