So I was getting ahead of my self and trying to do multiple piros and I got her in some wind and stuffed it. I broke a mixing arm or something i dont know the proper name, blades, canopy, main gear, flybar, and probably some more that I havent seen yet.
While Ive got the thing dismantled, I might as well upgrade some stuff. Do you guys think I should go with a Kasama kit(where do you get it besides Grand RC?)? or buy the individual TT parts that Amain has? Doesnt XMseller also have a Mini Titan head? what about the xmseller tail, does it take the slop out?
Id also like to get a new motor, the one I have gets super hot after hovering a pack, and its the middle of winter here, hasnt been above 20 in quite some time so Im thinking once it gets warm out that motor is going to be smoking hot. I used the suggested Pinion in the manual, would i save the motor by going down a tooth? or should I just upgrade, if so to which motor?
Im sure ill have more to ask later.
Thanks guys.

I've been very happy with my xmseller head and tail :) No problems, held up in a crash http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=62096 . Tail holds nicely, not much slop. I'm sure kasama are nicer, but for my skill level and the difference in price, xmseller stuff is perfect for me. xmseller on ebay accepted my offer for BOTH head and tail for $135... hard to beat that!

Using stock blades? Everyone reports things running hot with them. Try some align woodies maybe.

I run align 315 and 325s and its still hot.
I think I might buy two of the $129 kits from Amain, one for spares another to have as a backup, and then buy some more parts as well. We shall see, the Tax return clears the bank tonight at midnight.
Edit: anyone use those pro tek packs Amain has?

I would recomend the XMSELLER parts over the TT parts. Specifically, the tail is much better and WAY less slop. I am in the process now of replacing all my aloy TT parts with the XM stuff. Cheaper also. Can't comment on the Kasama, because I have'nt ever used one, but the XM head parts are equally as good as the TT parts, and you can use the larger Align style balls without retapping for 2mm threads. And again, they are much cheaper. Hope this helps.

I use the MicroHeli aluminum head parts - they are excellent...

I ended up picking up a Mini titan Package from RR that included a complete MT with a Kasama head on it. Couple more batts, a carry case, another full airframe and some spares. With all the stuff i got in there I should have 2 fully operational MT's and my B400 should also be ready to rock too. I might actually make a trip to the golf dome this weekend and hand with some other heli pilots.
Go slow, I feel you are advancing too quickly, just my observation, the 325SE has the metal head & so far it seems to work for me as a newbee. Were you satisfied with G.O. trim adjustsments?
Hope to see you at the DOME. I'll be the one hovering near the surface, YIKEES!!!

G.O. trim adjustments? not sure what that means
I should be good to go for Friday or Sat at the Dome. Probably Sat as ill be dropping my woman off at the airport Sat afternoon and will have the night to myself.
