It sounds like a bad excuse for not having my homework, but my dog really did eat my cable. I still have the 3.5mm mini jack, the resistor (I guess) soldered to it, and most of the cable itself. Problem is, the mutt chewed the jack clean off of the wire, and I don't know which part of the wire goes to which part of the jack. I had to repair the cable at the jack end once already, and I know that there are only two connections that need to be made... and for $16 a pop to replace the cable (which NOBODY has in stock), I'm very much interested in repairing it.
Can anyone help me? Specifically, I'd like to know which portion of the wire goes to which part of the jack. This should be easy to determine by simply removing the cover from the mini jack and just taking a peek. Better yet, if anyone has an extra cable just laying around that they'd be willing to sell me, that would be great too.
It's a JR cable.
Thanks!
