Quick question.... I can't believe I'm going to ask this but.... how do you charge the tx? I have the JR9303 and it doesn't say on the manual. If it was something else (not an expensive tx), I would plug in and let it charge but it usually gives you some kind of sign to let you know that it's charging. I plugged it in and nothing happens... no blinking no lights... nothing so.. how do i know it's chargin. Also, the manual says that you should charge the tx and rx for 15 hours the first time (slow charger) but I didn't know I needed to charge the receiver!!!!! The worse part is that I can't figure out how to charge the receiver. How do I do that. The manual doesn't say, help!!!!! :arggg:

FYI,
I was told the receiver used a battery that I don't really need. I didn't get the battery in my JR box so I was trying to figure out how in the world to charge the receiver. I assume the redlight that came on when I plugged in the tx to the power source will go off and that will mean that the radio is ready... so I think I'm all set with my questions.
The male connector plugs into the female connector. :)

You'll see a red light on the wall-wart.(one for the TX, one for the RX)
That means it's charging.
The 4 cell NiMH battery (you dont need it, assuming you are an electric-only guy for now...)
is nice to have around.
I use them for setting up electric heli's. (just plug it into an open channel or the Batt/Bind port.
That way, there is no power going to the ESC/motor. Its much safer that way, IMO.

And the red light on the charger doesn't go out. The wall charger is a trickle charger and is reasonably safe to leave on for long periods of time. Not forver, but if you leave it for a couple of days, no big deal.
Oh, and BIG thing, do NOT use any ohter charger other than a JR charger. JR wires their charge connectors backwards from everyone else in the known world. Using the wrong charger will blow the internal fuse.

Thanks Dood and Pinecone, yeah I was waiting a waiting for the redlight to go off and they just gave up and unplugged it. Regarding the battery for the receiver... I'm building it my 500 and I'm stucked at the point that I need to set up the servors to tight up the rest of the screws. I just received on the mail my main batteries but I order the 10s battery charger that si coming out a bit late so I won't get it for a week or two. I would like to get the battery for the receiver to continue the set up. Man I have NEVER EVER put soo much work onto just one thing. I think the store is openning at noon today and I will buy the battery to power up the electronic and continue with the set up process.
