Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here on helifreak. Between the great friendly posts and the exciting videos, you guys have been my main inspiration for jumping into helis and learning how to fly. :)

After three gallons and over thirty flights, I'm thoroughly hooked! Yesterday I sucessfully continuiously hovered nose in, did some fun high banked fast figure eight circuits around the field, and generally have the funnest best flying session yet.

Keep posting those videos, and keep posting how much fun this sport is! Woo Woo!

Sounds like you are progressing nicely. I'm just now getting to the figure 8 part and I'm on the third CASE of fuel. I think I dinked around with the chicken stix too long but I'm happy. Keep pushing and you'll be inverted before you know it.

What's great about this hobby, is that you can do everything at your own pace. I just try to do something new each time I go to the field. Sometimes it is something small, sometimes big..... but it is at MY pace.

Have fun, remember, you don't have to do it all in one day !!! :wink:
