Brought it down too hard and the main rotors slapped into the tail, ripping it off.

The boom is a total loss, needs a new tail rotor/belt housing, belt and blades, new boom support, tail control arms and main rotors.

I just bought a new boom and main blades/flybar/spindle with boom supports, but the problem is the boom didn't just come off, it apparently ripped part of the frame off (the part screwed over the tail boom.)

My question is, is the frame a total loss, or can it be reattached somehow and a new tailboom put in? And if the frame needs to be replaced, will a V2 frame work or will I need to seek out an original V1 frame to be compatible with the fuel tank/engine/etc?

Sounds like it might be a good time to upgrade to the V2.
