Hi I have a question

I'm installing a pair of 2mm frames , I have a question:

The old frames are 1.6mm which makes the bird wider by 0.8mm with the new frames. Everything that is between the frames shouldn't have a problem to fit but what about the control rod that goes through the frames? I mean the one where you have the T-levers for cyclic... mine is a perfect fit on the 1.6mm frames, isn't it going to be too short on a pair of 2mm frames?

I think you will not need the washes.

The internal dimension will stay the same.
As BobbyK said the washers on the control shaft probably have to be removed.should be no drama.

Should i remove all (two washers on each side - 0.5mm and 0.2mm) or only one of them?

It's probably best to keep them symmetrical. If the bellcranks will still spin freely with both washers installed, leave them there. If not, start by removing the two 0.5mm ones and test the fit. A tiny bit of play will not harm anything.

Remove them all, then do a test fit.
If the control rod can move install one washer test again.
By memory the washers are different thicknesses. so you may have to do a bit of plyaing to get it right.
