I just purchased a mini titan kit (newer kit 4710-K10 model number), hs55 cyclic, Align motor & esc, FlightPower Evo25 3S1P 11.1v 2170mah. Coupled with my gy401, and fma fs8 co-pilot system, Futaba 7chp radio.
this is my first 450 sized ever. Is there any problems I should be aware of? what parts should I order ahead for crashes.

alright.
what is this blade tracking problem?
what parts should I pre-order (which parts are most likely to break in a crash)

The blade tracking was happening to some people running over 3000 headspeed with carbon blades. There are new heftier upper mixing arms and blade grips to deal with it.

I would order landing skids, or upgrade to Gorilla gear for the Trex, you will need to get the Trex bars( not sure what they are called). I broke two in a hurry, Im using Gorilla gear now and Its going to take a hard one to break them.
I would get some feathering shafts and main shafts, main blade grips, Align 325mm blades, spare links and rod ends, and maybe a main gear. I had a hard crash yesterday and broke the bottom chassis plate, canopy mounts, main gear, bent main shaft, bent feathering shaft, cracked canopy, and broken mixer arms, of and of course, main blades. It fell from about 40 ft up while i lost control in the wind doing a few piros, fell hard onto pavement.

Main shaft

Some main blades.
Am I missing anything else?

I like this thing so much, that im about to buy 2.5 more of them just so I always have one at least one thats working.
You can go as crazy as you want on parts.
Looked for you last Fri 23/08. MT E325SE flew well but the new pilot (me) not too good but no misshaps:)
It handled very well, STABLE, I found the rotor & tail blades were too tight, loosend them slight, you know the procedure, hold the heli on it's side & the blades remain horizontal, shake it then they will start to fall.
Found a GREAT method to balance the Titan.

Niice to see you got her in the air. Mine had a very hard crash Friday at work while showing some coworkers my new hobby. Ill be out of comission till parts come in later this week.
Maybe next weekend ill make it to the dome.

I find it better (just my opinion) to keep the blades a bit tighter than that. The old school of thought is that you should have the mains loose enough so they'll drop under their own weight... Most things I read now say to tighten them down so there's no chance of them moving w/o force. I've found this helps alot on spool-up, as sometimes the blades would move a bit, causing LOTS of vibration. As for the tail blades, I used to keep them that llose, but had tail twitching issues. Once I tightened them up a bit, all has been fine.
Only downside I've found is youhave to straighten them as best you can by eye before spooling...

Man I really hate it when that happens!
JC how do you like it compared to the B400?

I like it a ton better than the blade 400. I was given the Blade for xmas and it got me in the hobby. I can get spares for it at the LHS, and it flys ok.
But working on the thing is a royal PITA its just not well thought out IMO. The Mini Titan is easy to work on, Flys far more stable, and has a much cooler looking Canopy.
I have much better elec in the MT, HS56hbs, GY401, 9650, and I spent a ton of time on the setup. I have some DS285s on the way for the Blade and im going to be getting a new tail servo as well. I plan to give it a fair chance before I get rid of it, Ill take my time and try to get it set up as perfect as possible and see what happens. If it goes well, Ill keep it if now, its back up for sale.
