Some of us have 200's that the belt doesnt line up to the main gear very well. I picked up a MicroHeli hardened CPP main shaft at my LHS and used it to fix the problem.

There's two spacers and a collar in the pack. Put one spacer underneath the main gear, the other above the main gear and put the MH collar on top. Fixed mine.

my belt is reeeeeeeally close, but i can still see daylight in between it.

But now the new problem is: the pinion is riding on half of the main gear.

Doesn't seem to really affect it too much. What's the possible bad side? I'm hoping none. I was thinking of raising the pinion a little.

Strippage of the main gear..
yup raising the pinion would do the trick.

I've got a puller. I'll have to raise it.

a puller? that will work fine, but you should just be able to heat it and make it move.

I don't understand your picture. Maybe my frame is massively screwed up. You have two spacers, one below your main gear and one above your main gear. I have the stock spacer above my main gear and can barely fit the gear and spacer between the frame. Further, my motor shaft is between my belt where yours is clearly below the belt. You seem to have tons more room between your frame than I do. and I had to unscrew my frame and pull the halfs apart as much as possible just to get the gear in so its not like I can move them apart any farther. Is it just an illusion or is your motor shaft really that low?

Something is definately wrong with your heli man. No offense. Post a pic because all three of mine have the same room . This could be part of the reason your tail is messed up.

I will take a pic shortly. tail is actually working good at this point, just the broken tail case is causing problems. I don't know what to do though, not sure if I should get a microheli tail that doesn't respond to questions or if I should try a fung tail or if I should get the gaui cnc tail. Or if I should wait for the shaftdrive tail that may use different components.

Yours is fine. I used the MicroHeli Blade CP Pro hardened main shaft collar which is less than half the size (height) of the Gaui 200 collar. The spacers (x2) are included with the main shaft.

look at my motor shaft, it sticks up past the belt. In the picture you took, it appears your motor shaft is not sticking up through the belt, thats a major difference.

Well some guys shafts are bigger than others. :WOW

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and say depending on when you got that motor, it may be early production for the tube tail. The tube tail looks like it uses two pinions that are a lot taller than the original. Maybe?

Other than that check your motor and make sure its seated right. If it works fine it shouldn't hurt anything.

its the same motor from my ep100 pro, over a year old at least. maybe its just a different shaft size. I can't imagine there could be that much variance in the space between the frames. Too much more space and the stuff wouldn't line up correctly.

Its just a different motor.

I thought youw ere using the stock motor as well?

I am. I meant your is a different motor. As in the ep100 motor. I have three and they are all the same length.
