Hi gang
Just installed a new 401 on my Belt CP. The receiver is a RS61011 6 Ch digital micro receiver. Radio is a Futaba super 9. The problem is that the tail rotor will not arm even after I plug the battery in and the 401 kicks in. Not even after 20 seconds. All the other servos arm and work great. I have to un-plug the tail rotor plug from the gyro then plug it back in for the tail servo to work. (while the battery is still plugged in) Then the tail rotor works great. Did i miss a step somewhere? Maybe in the radio setup? Any help would be great
Thanks...Barry

Does the tail servo buzz or favor one direction after the GY 401 initializes?

Is it an analog servo being used with the GY 401 set for digital?

Hi Crel,
I looked over his set-up and it was fine... We found out that the servo (E-Sky 8 gram) in the Belt CP didn't want to work with the 401 for some reason (set to non DS).

A new analog E-Flite servo was put in and now Barry is hovering with a rock solid tail and is doing side-in hovers with ease.

The 401 is the way to go. I think he's using the stock E-Sky gyro as a key chain right now. :glasses2:

Thanks to Sleddog7 (Mike) The Heli is working great. A bad Cheap servo (E-Sky) caused the entire problem. Spend a few bucks and replace those cheap servos.....
