Oops

I was just connecting my 3S pack to the BC6 and I made a Boo Boo. I accidentally touched the black lead from the charger to the red lead on the battery. It was only for a half-second. The was a spark, a puff of smoke, and a lingering acrid smell. The smoke seemed to come from the point where the lead made contact. The battery looks good still, with no visible damage whatsoever.

Any thoughts?

Charge it (OUTDOORS) and see how it is. You probably did some damage, ut if it charges and works fine, it may have a shorter life and slightly less capacity.

But keep a CLOSE eye on it for a few cycles.
