Hone Helicopters (new all-metal 450 size heli)

Hi, I've been researching the market for all-metal 450 helis, and I found this line recently. They are called the Hone, they are brand new. For all of the information that I've found so far, check out my post over on rcuniverse here:

Please use this post or the one over on rcuniverse to discuss experiences with this heli. Again, it's brand spanking new on the market. I've got one coming to me next week, I guess I'll be forging new ground.

I finished my Hone HF-003 airframe assembly tonite. Here is a pic:

After doing some research myself I decided to give the Hone HF-005 a try and took delivery of one today. So far I'm impressed. Now I must patiently wait on some radio gear to arrive and then I'll start setting this baby up....

Where did you guys order from?

I believe that the only place to get them now is through Steve at Classicflyingmachines.com. Steve has been great to work with answering questions and providing support. I have nearly completed my build of the HF-005 but I am still lacking some electronics. Hopefully they will arrive soon.....

Yep, me too, I got mine from Steve Harbin in NC. Nice guy, working to support us early adopter consumers.

I got the 005 flying and I couldn't be happier with the results. This helicopter is really alot fun and is proving to be, for me anyway, a nice alternative.

Looks like the head and tail are from helimax/ark.
