Purcahse Battery & Charger for T-Rex 500

have a T-Rex 500 and want to purchase just on battery because I don't have a T-Rex 450 so I don't have any other batteries so I need to purchase a new one so I thaught because of this I will just buy one 6S battery instead of connecting tow together.
I live in Montreal, Canada and want to know what battery should I buy. I am new so I don't intend to do any 3D for a long time.
Also What would be the best charger with the balancer in one unit to buy.

Maxamps 6S 3000mah pack with a new FMA Cellpro 10S charger.

My Cellpro 10s should ship next week. I am looking at buying 2 or 3 of the Maxamps packs.

You could get the New ThunderPower TP610C which will charge 6 cell batteries. It's a charger and balancer together in one. I just bought one to do 6s packs in a field box. But it's not nearly as fast as the TP1010 with the TP 210 balancer combo. (this is the preferred charger / balancer)

The 1010 & 210 package seems a little pricey at first but you get what you pay for in this Hobby.
The 610 would certainly take care of your charging needs but it's limited to 6 cells. If you ever wanted to run a higher cell count you'd have to buy a different charger where as the 1010 will fill any needs you have now and probably in the future. I originally bought smaller chargers for the Rex 450's with a 3 cell max. I wish I would have purchased the 1010 / 210 combo as my first charger. I would have saved hundreds of dollars and probably a few mishandled batteries in the process.

You can check some of the T-Rex 500 links for the batteries they're flying but I believe the hot one right now is the FlightPower EVO 25C 3300 mAh 6S1P 22.2v. A friend of mine runs a 500 and this is the pack he's running.

You might check with ReadyHeli. They usually have great prices and their service is second to none.
