I was looking at a few suggested 3D combos and one on flying-heli uses a 300GT motor. I'm wondering how the performance compares to the stock. The 300GT is rated 3300kv while the stock motor is 4800kv. Is the stock motor better/more powerful?

I'm interested too. Wonder what the trade off is for the increased weight?

Summary of what i learned is that the 300GT with 3S battery and 14T pinion is a better performer than the stock motor and setup. Some posts state the stock motor is 25g and the z-power motor is 26g, other posts say it's 36g. Either way, seems the answer is that the 300GT is not a BAD idea for sure.
