I have a few Walkera Helis and want to use the TP-610C charger for their LiPos.

They have chinese connectors.

The chargers that came with those batteries connect to the balance wires only when charging, so I thought the same would be true with the thunder power charger.

However, when I connect the battery pack to the 2s or 3s plugs - I get "Voltage Error or Wrong Polarity".

So, do I need to connect the power leads also to the TP-610C for 2s or 3s lipos?

manual did included one diagram for 4/5 cell with the power and charge cord connected, but nothing about 1 to 3 cells, should I 'assume' that it needs a power plug as well? how is other charger setup? was just curious....

I bought that charger yesterday.
To charge a battery you have two options!
1: Charge thur the Deans plug only.
2: Charge thur the deans plug while it is plug into the balancer
That is it.
You can't just charge a battery thur the balancer. It won't work!
Hope that helps guys.

DoctorAudio was right, I just checked w/Mark at Thunder Power and you will need to use the output power and the balancer plug at the same time in order to charge the battery.

I don't want to have to buy another to charge it in 6S config. If you can get a wiring diagram, let me know!
That would work to!
Thanks
