Hi All,

I'd like to know if the JR DSX9 2.4GHz transmitter is compatible with the AR6100 6-channel receiver. The receiver I'm looking at is the one with the connection pins mounted horizontally (if this has any relevance whatsoever).

http://www.xheli.co.za/Shop/tabid/55/CategoryID/33/List/1/Level/a/ProductID/134/Default.aspx

I've heard various reports; some people indicate that it is compatible, others indicate it isn't. The people that indicate it isn't, site various reasons ranging from the absence of a satellite receiver module, to problems with the DSM2 protocol between the two manufacturers (JR and Spektrum).

I tend to doubt the reasons sited, but I must say I don't have evidence to support my claims either way. Does anyone out there know catagorically whether the items in question are compatible?

I don't know about the DSX9, but the X9303 works fine with the 10 I have. :)

Both 6100s and 6100Es.

The modules won't work with the older DSM Rxes (AR/BR6000).

As for the incompatiblity between JR and Spektrum, my Tx says "with Spektrum 2.4 GHz Technology." They are the same RF systems. And the only difference between the AR9000 and the R921 is the color of the plastic case and the labels.

Hi Pinecone,

I am building a new T-Rex 450 with a 401 gyro. In my X9303 I have enabled gyro but I can not tie it to the gear ch!? For now I have to use Gear end points for gain. Is this normal, What am I doing wrong?

Nothing.

The X9303 will not allow you to map the Gyro Sense menu to the Gear channel, only Aux 2. So to use Gyro Sense, you have to use a 7 ch Rx.
