Default How Much Does Your N9 Weigh?

As the titls says, mine weighed 5.3kg with half a tank of fuel, a header tank, and 2x 2s 1800mah lipos. Im keen to keep weight down, and wondered if anyone had put theirs on a diet?

I weighed my Synergy N9 and it came out to be a little over 11Lbs at 11.20Lbs (5.08Kg). The only suggestion the i can give to you to take a little weight off is to ditch the header tank and get a fuel magnet!

i need to backtrack on this one a touch! Im now using a fuel magnet, but im running a ys91st with its pressurised fuel system so no hot nasty exhaust gasses to destroy the foam on the magnet. had a few gallons with it in there now and good as gold, and it sure does suck the tank dry!

Then I guess a fuel magnet is only for guys with YS engines or for those who are diligent enough to imeidiately refuel or partially refuel the tank after each flight. doubt I will remeber to do as such after a exciting flight.
Or they can change the foam element to one that can handle hot exaust fumes!!!
