Edited, date change, didn't realize it conflicted with the Vegas fun fly.
Funfly will get started at 8am. and go til sundown and if there is enough interest we'll do a night fly also. There are no lights at the field so portable lighting will be needed for set up and such.
A flight line map will be posted at the entrance to the field and all pilots will be required to respect these guidelines.
AMA membership will be required to fly, no exceptions. If you're under 18 your parent will need to be present to sign your liability waiver, all pilots will sign a liability waiver, you are %100 responsible for any damage to any person place or thing. The SCHC club assumes no responsibility/liability for any damages.
Fee for each pilot is $10.
Drinks will be provided, water, Coke, 7up, etc..... There will be lunch served at noon for a suggested donation of $5, lunch will be BBQ tri tip sandwichs on a hoagie roll. Sweet baby rays BBQ sauce.....of course.
We ask that all new pilots check in and get help setting up their heli/aircraft. It is recommended that all pilots go through inspection but not required. There will be a hospitality tent as you enter the field/flight line and we will be more than happy to inspect your aircraft and help you get flying safely.
Free flight line flying until 11:30 am , auto rotation contest from 11:30 to 12 noon.
12 noon to 12:30 will be a foamy airplane free for all. LOOK OUT! Crazy pilots abound.
No tears if your foamy bites the dust. :) Foamy mayhem! :YeaBaby:
12:30 to 3:00pm free flight line.
Heli drag race @ 3:00pm. Double elimination.
Free flight line after drag races are concluded.
All video taken and stills taken at the event will be made available to SCHC and their members for their use.
Video and still pictures will be available through SCHC website.
Video services and still pictures services will be and are available for this event. Please ask at the hospitality tent @ field entrance.
Pilots only advised on flight line, video personel and or spectators are at your own risk. If you are on the flight line you are doing so at your own risk and SCHC assumes no liability.
Any pilot that blatantly ignores AMA/club rules will be asked to leave.
This event is a fun fly, have fun and be safe.
