View Full Version : Anyone tried trex500 landing gear on Lepton
Ive read that Gauri 550 skids have been used with success so I thought trex500 ones might work as well, they look a bit more like the lepton ones in that there less round / circular. Has any one tried them ?

here's a pic of my hdx on trex 500 gear like it better than the stock ones for sure. I know it's not a lepton but close

Yip, one of the guys at our shop has 500 landing gear on his Lepton, and I have a set I am going to be putting on mine :) Just drill the holes and mount. It keeps it a nice height, and isn't as flimsy as the Leptons gear.

Here's a pic of mine, got them on this morning.
Thanks for the replies, especially the pics, looks really good. I reckon these with the 68mm blades and stretched fin set I've ordered should tighten the tail up some.
Looks pretty cold there in Oklahoma mate.
