OK, i'm about to purchase an AR7000 for my Logo500. I know Spektrum is touting some new quick reset firmware but would like to know if there is a way to tell which vendors have these in stock. Basically I don't want to get it and have to eventually send it back like i'll have to do at some point with the other 3 rx's I have.

Do you have a LHS within a reasonable distance? That's probably about the only way to be sure. I don't recall if the package said anything about the QuickConnect, but it does say that the receiver is Flight Log compatible. However, from reading an article on the Spektrum site, if you get one of the older receivers, you can have it upgraded for free.

Quick Connect was p[hased in last summer. The latest firmware will flash the LEDs if there is a low voltage event.

If you have a good power source, neither feature will do anything for you. And if you have a bad power source, you will still not have control while the power is too low.

But the AR6200, AR7000 and 9 ch Rxes have NO markings to tell you which firmware they have. So the best bet is to go with a high volume dealer that has good turnover of stock.
