Motor size when it comes to electrics.
Or, for that matter, nitros. It's just that the numbers are in a different range (30, 50, 60, 90) corresponding to cylinder displacement. The numbers for electrics are the equivalent brushed motor size.
Of course, Align had to muddy the waters with the T-Rex 600 Nitro. It's the size of a 600 electric and happens to use 600mm blades, but it's really a 50 sized nitro heli.

And it depends. Thunder Tiger uses blade size on their electric helis, as does Gaui. Others use motor size.
Trex 600 E is a 600 equivalent motor, but also runs 600 mm blades.
What ?? You thaught there would be a consistant answer that made complete sense ? :P
