Hyperion EOS 0610i Net - Charge Cable max 20cm?

Hi,

I have a Hyperion EOS 0610i Net LiPo Charger which I use to charge my FlightPower and Hyperion 5S LiPo betteries. According to the Charger User Manual, charging cables shall be maximum 20 cm (8 inches). However, this is a bit short when I use the LiPoSack when charging..! Does anyone know why there have to be a limit in charging cable lenght? Is there any danger in using a 30 cm cable insted?

The chargers ability to measure the internal resistance ofthe battery would be affected if the charge cable were too long. This would have far more of an impact on the 'automatic' mode of Nixx charging, as this is based solely on battery resistance.
For Lipo charging I suspect it wouldnt make much difference, especially if you use a nice thick gauge wire.
