Hi Guys!

I recently got back into RC helis and surprised to find how much the technology has changed over the years.

On previous advice and research, i purchased a Raptor 50 Titan with a Dx-7 radio and Futaba gy401 gyro.

I've assembled the helicopter but have hit a snag with the gyro.

I cant seem to plug the GY401 gyro into the AR7000 receiver aux port. It would appear the connector coming from the GY401 is too wide and doesnt suit the AR7000. Do i need to modify the plug?

Tried searching for a thread to assist me with this issue without any luck. Hoping you guys could shed some light.

Cheers,
Chris

look on the side of the servo lead for the gyro, near the white wire is a 'blade'. Trim off the blade and plug in while orienting all the light colored wires the same way.

Thanks Wayne - I figured that was what i needed to do. Was just looking for some reassurance i wasnt going to short out my gyro and burn down my house doing that.

Works a treat. Cant wait to tune it now :-)

Thanks again.

Chris
