I see the new listing on the G10 black frame version for the HDX500SE V2
http://www.helidirect.com/product_info.php?products_id=6406
With all that been going on with the T-Rex 500 static/2.4 GHz issues seems like a good choice for the frame these days.
Still nothing on the larger main gear option?

Not sure how they are doing that. There are no replacement parts. All of us original HDX owners have been waiting for months for the new frames and yet, here we are, still waiting. No frames, but kits, saying they have the new frames? What gives?
I am still lovin my TRex 500 though. I stole the servos and gyro from the HDX...figure I might re provision it when they finally come out with some good stuff.

Yes, I noticed that replacement parts are not listed. Like most things time will tell.... I think if they work out the quality issues and fill the pipeline with spare parts (who has 425 blades ??? all out of stock) that is what will make it go, easier said than done - it takes a lot of doing..... I do like the overall frame design with metal head, tail, etc. I am in no hurry so I am in a wait and see on this one.....

Anyone here anything on this lately? Mine is still parted out in boxes from the last crash. Still waiting and no word....what's the deal?

I too am still waiting for the RV frames to be released.
My clicking finger is resting above the "Add to cart" button for a TRex500.

Well, you gotta go ahead and get the TRex. No reason to wait on that one. Until the new HDX is proven to outperform the Rex, I don't think you can go wrong. Considering the frames are still not here and the HeliDirect forum has tumble weeds blowing across it here lately....I think we are still a ways away from seeing any true results.

what are the "RV" frames you are talking about? i had a trex 500 with no static issues and on 2.4 gig spectrum. no mods needed. i think it is the way people are mounting the components.

RV stands for Rotorworkz Version.
Charlie is in the process of desigineing a new frame layout set around the SAS (I think) and the larger main gear.
