hey guys, i know letting lipos sit can be tuough on the chemistry, so if they are going to be sitting a long period of time a half charge is needed. over the winter months i have been buying a few 6s1p 5000 mah lipos for my new trex600 build. all three of them have been sitting with no discharge lead soldered. so, since they have been sitting on the warehouse shelf since who knows how long plus sitting on my shelf, is this going to be safe for them? or should i be putting deans connectors on now and charging and discharging (to half capacity of course) until my maiden flights? i worry about 250-300 dollar batteries dumping on me! thanks for any info or thoughts!
